How do vendors estimate and price their services?
Melody Lane will coordinate with vendors in advance and ask them to provide an estimated price based on detailed descriptions of the job including brand, model, serial#, pictures, etc.

The vendor will then provide a price estimate to Melody Lane. Melody Lane places a nominal management charge on the job and quotes our member. 

If the service proceeds as expected, members will be charged the estimated price; however, if there are any changes to the work required or increases in price, vendors will first coordinate via text or phone with their Melody Lane contact before proceeding with the work. 

This is handled quickly and efficiently with a team on the ready to make sure work is not slowed down.
How are transactions handled?
The vendor invoices Melody Lane upon job completion. We then process the invoice immediately for payment and charge our member. All of this is done electronically to improve cash flow for us and our vendor network.
What is involved in joining our approved vendor network?
Melody Lane welcomes vendors from a wide variety of household trades. Vendors who wish to become part of our approved vendor network can express interest by clicking the link below. 

One of our team members will schedule a video chat to make sure we are a good fit for each other. If we both decide to move forward we will send the vendor an onboarding link that will collect basic company information, accepted payment methods, license information, certificate of insurance, W-9, and agreed to terms and conditions.
Can I market services directly to your homeowners?
We do ask all our vendors to agree to not solicit business from our customers directly.

HOWEVER, we frequently partner with many of our vendors and put together joint marketing campaigns such as specials and seasonal offerings.
